2009 SLC Scholarships

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the University of Idaho (UI) has announced the following scholarships for the 2009 Idaho BPA Secondary State Leadership Conference:

BPA LEADERSHIP – UI BUSINESS SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIP:    Student members who hold an elected state officer position with the Idaho BPA Association in 2009 or 2010 will receive a guaranteed $1,500 Scholarship to attend the College of Business & Economics at the University of Idaho*:

BPA COMPETITION - UI BUSINESS SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIPS: All National Qualifiers in the following BPA 2009 State Competition events will receive a guaranteed scholarship to attend the College of Business and Economics at the University of Idaho*.

• Advanced Account (Event 02)

• Entrepreneurship (Event 61)

• Human Resource Management (Event 67)

NEW! BPA TORCH AWARD– UI BUSINESS SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIP:    The top three Torch Award recipients in Idaho for 2009 will receive a guaranteed  $1,000 scholarship to attend the College of Business & Economics at the University of Idaho.  The top Torch recipient, as determined by the BPA State Vice President will receive a special “Statesman of the Year” scholarship, worth $1,500.*

Other BPA National qualifiers can apply for a scholarship on a first-come, first-awarded basis from a reserve pool of scholarships ranging from $500-$750 dedicated to BPA state competitors. For information on this and all other scholarships contact Dana Stover.
